Events & Festivals in Cornwall
The Royal Cornwall Show happens every year and has been around since 1858! This year the show is on 6th – 8th June at Wadebridge showground. It’s the perfect event to dive into the Cornish culture, see traditional farming animals and try an abundance of amazing food.
Another festival celebrating one of Cornwall’s traditions is the Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival. Happening on 14th – 16th June in the heart of Falmouth, this festival is family friendly and a great day out. Less than an hour drive from Trevornick, Falmouth’s Sea Shanty Festival is your chance to hear Cornish music and try delicious Cornish ale and cider.
New to Cornwall this year is the Heartlands Food Festival! Join them on 22nd – 23rd June for a whole host of local street food stalls for you to feast on, then wash it down with something refreshing from one of their many bars whilst listening to live music from Rudi’s Message and the Motown Pirates! Another bonus for this festival is that kids go FREE!
Less than a 20-minute drive from Trevornick Holiday Park is the Rock 2 Rock, Let’s Rock event happening on 29th June at Watergate Bay. Take part in a sunset beach run, enjoy live music on the beach and finish the night watching a fireworks display overlooking the sea – sounds like a great day to us! Open to all ages so bring the whole family along.
