Trevornick Holiday Park LTD –Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions form part of your booking contract with us – you should read them carefully.

Please ensure you are happy to book under these conditions before making a booking.


Bookings & Deposits 

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required with all bookings. We can provisionally hold bookings for 24hours without a deposit once the provisional booking expires it will automatically be cancelled.

Once a booking has been made no monies can be refunded or transferred to another booking under any circumstances should you subsequently cancel your holiday.

Refunds will not be given, in any circumstances, for any changes made to your booking once the balance has been paid in full. We have the right to take payment from the card used for the holiday to cover any outstanding balance following your stay.

Any bookings not paid in full by the balance due date stated on your booking confirmation may be cancelled.

Final balances are due to be paid 12 weeks prior to arrival. Any late payments will automatically incur a late fee of £12.00.

It is your responsibility to check the details of your booking confirmation are correct and notify us immediately of any discrepancies. We cannot accept responsibility for any errors not corrected prior to arrival.

For the safety of all our guests, all bookings must show correct guests details and vehicle registrations, prior to arrival.

Only guests named on the booking will be permitted on site and allowed the use of the facilities. Charges will apply for booking changes.

Parties, of young adults, either all male, all female or mixed parties are not accepted during the peak weeks and are at the Manager’s discretion at all other times.  Please note – Young adults booked as a family party who are subsequently left unsupervised by their parents, guardians, or carers, will be asked to leave the park.

We can only accept touring and camping bookings from customers over the age of 18. For accommodation bookings, the lead party member must be aged 21 years or over.

For bookings from overseas, we reserve the right to pass on to you any bank charges and other costs we incur.

For Touring, camping and all accommodation types, specific units can be reserved at an extra cost; however, we reserve the right to re-allocate pitches/units if required. Guests will be notified of any changes. You are not guaranteed units next to another party unless previously arranged at the time of booking.

The confirmation of the booking, by payment of the deposit, the issue of an invoice or e-mail by Trevornick Holiday Park LTD, constitutes a contract between both parties and the customer will be liable for the balance of monies owing twelve weeks prior to arrival.

The person in whose name the invoice is made out is deemed to be fully responsible for the booking, payment of deposit and balance, and for the members of the booked party whilst at Trevornick Holiday Park.

If you have family/friends locally who would like to visit you during your stay at Trevornick Holiday Park, we ask all visitors to sign in at reception prior to entering the site. If visitors are planning to stay overnight by joining you in your booked accommodation, payment will be taken in accordance with the seasonal priced tariff.

No visitors can exceed the set amount of guests per accommodation type and the lead guest on the booking will be held responsible for any breach of terms. These conditions are subject to the latest Government advice and management reserve to refuse visitors to the site at any time.

Pitches and any accommodation not claimed or checked in at reception within 24 hours of the booked period shown on your invoice will be re-let unless prior notice has been given.

Trevornick Holiday Park does not knowingly accept bookings from or allow anyone to stay within the booking party who has previously been or currently listed on the Violent or Sexual Offenders Register or anyone subject to a sexual risk order, child abduction notice or anything similar. By making a booking you are confirming that no one in your party is included in any of the above and if proven otherwise your booking will be cancelled with immediate effect.

Trevornick Holiday Park operate a warning system and reserve the right to ban any guests not adhering to these terms and conditions.

Casual and last-minute bookings

All bookings must be paid for using a credit/debit card registered to the account holders address.

Bookings made on the day of arrival must be for a minimum of 3 nights and are paid for by credit/debit card only.

No casual/last minute bookings will be taken over the phone via our bookings office unless a customer account already exists for the lead party booking member.

We reserve the right to decline any bookings or enquiries for arrival on the same day.

Making a change to your booking

Once your deposit has been paid, any changes, if we choose to accept them,  will incur a £20.00 administration charge.

Date changes can only be made or moved to within the same year of the original booking.

No alterations or date changes can be made to a booking within 48 hours of arrival.

Cancellations

If you decide to cancel:

If for any reason you are unable to attend your holiday at Trevornick Holiday Park, please contact a member of the team as soon as possible. All cancellations must be received in writing via email ([email protected]) or post. As per the booking conditions, the booking is non-refundable.

We strongly recommend all guests purchase their own holiday insurance and/or purchase Trevornick’s own cancellation scheme – full details below.

Cancellation Scheme:

On bookings made directly with Trevornick, we offer a cancellation scheme. This must be taken at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date. For £2.50 per night this provides cover as below:

If you have to cancel your booking prior to twelve weeks before arrival for any reason, we will refund any monies paid (excluding your deposit and the cancellation scheme fee).  Alternatively, you may transfer your booking to a date within the next 12 months.  Should the cost of the holiday increase the additional balance will be required in line with our payment terms.  Any credit will not be refunded, however can be used towards the cost of a holiday to be taken within 12 months.  The additional break must be booked within 3 months of cancellation.

Between twelve weeks prior to arrival and the arrival date, we will only refund monies paid (excluding your deposit and cancellation scheme fee) if cancellation is due to one of the following reasons: death, serious illness or redundancy to a member of the booked party.   Between six weeks prior to arrival and the arrival date you may transfer your booking to a date within the next 12 months if the above criteria have been met.  Should the cost of the holiday increase the additional balance will be required in line with our payment terms.  Any credit will not be refunded, however can be used towards the cost of a holiday to be taken within 12 months.  The additional break must be booked within 3 months of cancellation.

The Trevornick Cancellation Scheme only applies up to, but not including your arrival day at Trevornick. Once here refunds cannot be given if for any reason your holiday is cut short.

Cancellation cover is not available if your holiday is booked within twelve weeks of your arrival date and must be purchased at the time of booking.

Claims for refunds must be made in writing and supported by relevant documents.

If Trevornick cancels your booking:

In exceptional circumstances, it may become necessary for Trevornick to cancel your booking. In the unlikely event of this arising, we will inform you as soon as possible. If your booking is cancelled by us due to circumstances beyond our control (Force majeure) we will be unable to refund any monies paid.


Offers: 

Only one discount or special offer can be applied per booking. Once you have booked your holiday any offers that may become available such as last-minute offers, cannot be applied to an existing booking. All offers are subject to availability and can be removed at any time.

Gifts, prizes, or any free holidays given by Trevornick Holiday park cannot be exchanged for a monetary voucher/value. Any queries regarding a promotional holiday need to be directed to the marketing department. You may not advertise, use, give or resell your promotional break without written consent from Trevornick Holiday Park.


Pitches and Accommodations: 

The price/tariff quoted is for your accommodation or pitch type only. We offer FREE leisure facilities as shown on our website. Please note these are not all year round and are subject to closures.

Touring & Camping:

Touring and camping pitches allow for one tent or one motor home or one touring caravan and an awning. Due to fire regulations, you are not permitted to put more than one accommodation unit on a pitch. Gazebos and extra tents are only permitted for storage and are chargeable per unit. These must be paid for on the booking, if not you will be liable for extra costs. The size of your unit (caravan, motorhome, tent) must be given at the time of booking to ensure the pitch is large enough. If on your arrival your unit exceeds the dimensions of the pitch we reserve the right to relocate you to another pitch. All items on your pitch must not cross over your boundary pitch and must leave the clear space required by fire regulations. Arrival time is from 12pm and departure time is 10am. Your pitch is not guaranteed before 12pm as there are maintenance and safety checks that need to be completed between stays. Late departures will incur a £25 charge, we reserve the right to take this from the card used to pay for your holiday. During peak season, dogs are welcome in Hay, Red Corn, and Sun fields and are chargeable, by dog, to a maximum of three. During Easter, September and October, dogs are also allowed in Pond and Yellow fields. During our rally season please be aware dogs may be allowed in other fields. If you have any concerns, please call the office prior to arrival to discuss other options. Each pitch has an allocation for one car included in the booking. Additional vehicles will be chargeable and are required to be parked in designated parking spaces around the site and not on the pitch. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to refuse customers to pitch up after dark. Please note we do not supply any camping equipment. If you would like to exclude electricity, water and/or grey waste you can phone us for pricing and to book or select the option online.

Ready Tents:

Ready Tents are available for Saturday to Saturday bookings only in peak season. Short breaks are dependent on availability and only outside of peak season. Ready Tents do not come equipped with any bedding or towels – please remember to bring your own. Arrival time is from 3.30 pm and departure time is 9.30 am late departures will incur a £25 charge. We reserve the right to take this from the card used to pay for your holiday. Dogs are only welcome in our designated dog-friendly Ready Tents and are chargeable by a dog to a maximum of two. Each Ready Tent has an allocation for one car included in the booking. Additional vehicles will be chargeable and are required to be parked in designated parking spaces around the site and not on the pitch. The maximum number of guests in a Ready Tent is 6 people.

Static Caravans:

Static caravans are available for Saturday to Saturday bookings only in peak season. Short breaks are dependent on availability and only outside of peak season. Bedding packs are supplied in all Static Caravan, ready for guests to make up on arrival. Please note no towels are provided, so please remember to bring your own. Arrival time is from 4 pm and departure time is 10 am late departures will incur a £25 charge. We reserve the right to take this from the card used to pay for your holiday.  Dogs are only welcome in our designated dog-friendly static caravans and are chargeable by a dog to a maximum of two. The cost of static caravan stays includes parking for one car beside the van. Additional vehicles will be chargeable and required to be parked in designated parking spaces around the site and not next to the caravan. The maximum number of guests in a static caravan is four or six depending on the number of bedrooms.

Lodges:

Gull Rocks Lodges are available for Friday to Friday bookings only in peak season. Short breaks are dependent on availability and only outside of peak season. Towels and bedding are provided in all Luxury Lodges and beds are made up ready for guests arrival. Arrival time is from 4 pm and departure time is 10 am late departures will incur a £25 charge. We reserve the right to take this from the card used to pay for your holiday. Dogs are only welcome in our dog-friendly Lodges and are chargeable by a dog to a maximum of two. The maximum number of guests in our Harlyn, Harlyn Plus and Sennen lodges is 6 people and a maximum of 7 people in our Treyarnon Lodge. Some of our lodges are booked with a Hot Tub, there are strict safety rules in place for hot tubs on-site, which must be adhered to. Please note children under 8 are not permitted to use the hot tubs. If we have to perform a water change, during your stay, due to contamination caused by not following instructions you will be charged a £100 water change fee. You are also responsible for any damage to hot tubs or the cover during your stay and in either case, we reserve the right to deduct these costs from your security deposit. Safety rules and cover instructions are displayed in our welcome packs and in the hot tub area. These rules are for your safety and anyone not adhering to these rules will be asked to leave the site. BBQ’s and decking furniture are provided for use between Easter and October Half Term, outside of these times they are removed to prevent damage due to bad weather. Lodge numbers 6, 8, 9, 30 and 31 are owned by Trevornick Holiday Park Limited. All other lodges are owned by a 3rd party. All bookings are made through Trevornick directly but monies are transferred to owners after bookings are fulfilled. You will receive 5-star service whichever lodge you stay in as Trevornick maintains, cleans and manages every lodge. When booking this type of accommodation please note that out of peak season the holiday park and associated facilities may not be open and our tariff reflects this – please contact the park for seasonal opening times.

Cottages:

Cottages are available for Friday to Friday bookings only in peak season. Short breaks are dependent on availability and only outside of peak season. Towels and bedding are provided in all cottages and beds are made up ready for guests arrival. Arrival time is from 4 pm and departure time is 10 am late departures will incur a £25 charge. We reserve the right to take this from the card used to pay for your holiday. BBQ’s and decking furniture are provided for use between Easter and October Half Term, outside of these times they are removed to prevent damage due to bad weather. Dogs are welcome in all of our cottages and are chargeable by a dog to a maximum of two. The maximum number of guests allowed in Popham Cottage is 4 people, Buller and Bejowan allow 6 people maximum. When booking this type of accommodation please note that out of peak season the holiday park and associated facilities may not be open and our tariff reflects this – please contact the park for seasonal opening times.

Self-Catering:

Please note, all self catering accommodation (Ready Tents, Static Caravans, Lodges and Cottages) require a refundable security deposit which will be added automatically to your booking when a reservation has been made. This security deposit is taken to cover any damages to the accommodation or missing inventory on departure. The refundable deposit will be returned to the customer after the departure checks have been made on the accommodation and providing that the accommodation is left in the same state as it was provided. The money will return to the card that was used to pay for the booking and refunds can take up to 10 working days to show. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify Trevornick of any changes to the card prior to the refund being made.

The following Housekeeping bond will be required one week prior to arrival in our self-catering accommodation:

Ready Tent = £100
Static Caravan = £150
Cottage = £250
Lodge = £300

This payment will be held as a pending transaction, with funds frozen from your account.  On the rare occasion that our housekeeping team find any damages, missing items or deem the accommodation to require an unacceptable level of cleaning we will recover these additional charges from your bond.

Once released the pending transaction will be cancelled and your funds will be available in your account, dependent upon your banks processing time.


Multiple Bookings

If you are booking as a group of families or friends, we strongly advise you pay the additional pick a plot charge to secure placement. If this is not included on the booking pitch numbers or placement cannot be guaranteed.

This is an extra charge of £15.00 on each booking secured.

Please note we can only accept a maximum of 4 bookings within any particular party. Larger party enquiries may on occasion be accepted, at the discretion on the management. Our policies are in line with our sites family environment and are set with all guests enjoyment in mind.

Seasonal Pitches

Seasonal pitches are selected by Trevornick Holiday Park.

All season booking deposits must be paid to secure a pitch and all balances must be paid in full by the date stated when booking. If balances are not received by this date, the chosen pitch will be cancelled and made available to holiday bookings. Seasonal pitches are not guaranteed each year and are at the decision of the Holiday Park.

A seasonal pitch cannot be sold or sublet by the pitch holder.

To comply with health and safety, fire and any Government regulations all season residents will need to check-in and out at the reception for each arrival and/or departure.

All season guests can only attend site between the confirmed site opening dates.

If at any point a unit is left unattended on a seasonal pitch, Trevornick Holiday Park accepts no liability for any loss or damages. Guests must ensure their awnings and exterior accessories are left at their own risk and should be secured against all weathers.


Accommodation Rules

We do not permit any accommodation to be sub-let under any circumstances.

All accommodation is booked on a self-catering basis. We do not supply cleaning products, toiletries or condiments.

Each accommodation is provided with an inventory list, you must notify reception of any shortages immediately. You will be liable for replacement costs should you not have notified us of any missing items before commencing your stay.

You must leave your pitch or accommodation by the times stated against each accommodation type.

You are obliged to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition. You are responsible for any damage done or sustained during your stay. We reserve the right to keep any monies from your security deposit to cover any damages or extra cleaning fees.

For safety reasons, in all accommodation, the maximum number of guests cannot be exceeded and if found to be, the whole party will be asked to leave the site. The numbers stated includes children of any age.

Gazebos and tents are not permitted in the Ready Tent, Static, Lodge or Cottage areas.

Trevornick Holiday Park has the right to enter any self-catering accommodations in the case of an emergency, for security or safety reasons, at any given time.

Please be aware that not all of our pitches and accommodation have sea views and we cannot guarantee this at any time.

Check-in and Check-out Times:

We endeavour to have all accommodation ready for check-in times stated, however, we cannot guarantee this time due to maintenance issues that arise and stringent sanitisation procedures that may mean your check-in time is delayed.

Arrivals after reception has closed must use the night holding field and report to the reception after 9am the following day. You must book in at reception before entering the Park. Last booking-in time varies throughout the season, please check with reception prior to your arrival. If guests are staying in a self-catering accommodation, please contact the reception if you plan to arrive after reception has closed.

Cars:

The speed limit throughout the site is 5 mph. Vehicles must not be parked on roads or pathways and must not cause an obstruction to other users of the site. For safety reasons, we ask customers not to drive around the site after dark. Boulders and posts are placed around the site to prevent damages to roadsides and to prohibit unauthorised parking. The park will not accept liability for any damages caused by these measures. Vehicle access is required for emergency services, therefore all guests vehicles must be parked in the designated spaces.

Your vehicles, accessories and contents are left entirely at your own risk. The park will not be responsible for any loss or damage from or to any vehicle from any cause whatsoever other than, in the case of negligence by one of the parks employees or agents.

Charging of electric vehicles or batteries can only be undertaken at designated charging stations across the site. No charging is permitted at any camping and touring pitches, self-catering accommodations or any other electric point that is not for the sole purpose of charging vehicles.

Commercial vehicles are not allowed on site.


Entertainment & Activities:

In the unfortunate event, it becomes necessary to amend the scheduled entertainment and daily activities, we will notify guests with signs displayed on entertainment boards and through our social media platforms.. We reserve the right to amend the schedule if required at any time.

All outdoor activities are subject to appropriate weather conditions at the time the activity is due to take place.

All entertainment is available on a first-come first-serve basis. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure they and any member of their party are fit and suitable to participate in any onsite activity or facility.


Dogs:

Trevornick Holiday Park and Holywell Bay Golf are dog-friendly sites. We reserve the right to book dogs in any touring/camping fields at any time. While we have strict pet rules in place we cannot be held responsible for customer’s pets. If you have any concerns regarding dogs, please check when making a booking.

Dogs must be booked in advance as part of your booking and a charge applies in accordance with the current tariff. Please confirm the breed of dog you would like to bring with you as Trevornick reserves the right to refuse certain breeds of dog which it deems inappropriate on a family site according to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 including: Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero and XL Bully. If dogs are not described at the point of booking, either by phone or online and once onsite display unsocial behaviour or cause disruption to other guests, we reserve the right to terminate the booking forthwith without compensation. We reserve the right to ask guests to leave if they bring a dog with them to any non-dog friendly accommodation. We also reserve the right to charge our standard fees if a pet is found to be staying when not previously booked or paid for.

We want everyone staying onsite to enjoy their holiday and make the best memories possible! To do this we ask that all dogs remain on a lead, at all times around the park, and for owners to pick up after their dog and use the bins provided. Please do not leave your pets unattended in cars, tents, caravans or any accommodation for any period of time. They must not cause a nuisance to other guests.

We also ask that pets are not allowed to climb on any furniture or sleep on the beds in any accommodation and that they are house trained, up to date with their flea, worming and vaccination treatments and not to visit the site if in season as this may cause problems with other dogs. Additional cleaning charges will apply if dogs have been allowed on any furniture, have caused mess or damage during your stay.


General Park Rules: 

We do not allow the use of portable generators on the Park.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any of our buildings, accommodation or designated no-smoking areas. Illegal drugs are not permitted anywhere on site. We reserve the right to evict and report anyone suspected of using illegal drugs on site.

All areas of Trevornick other than those listed below are Alcohol-Free Zones:

The Farm Club and Bar, Farm Club courtyard (within the boundary rails), Café areas and exterior seated area (within the boundary rails), the Woody’s Bar and its exterior seated area and individual camper units (Tents/Caravans/Ready Tents/Static Caravans/Cottages/Lodges etc.)

Dangerous items including knives, firearms, air weapons, archery equipment and fireworks (including sparklers) may not be bought onto or used on site.

If any member of your booking party has excluded themselves from any none gambling premises, please inform a member of Trevornick staff on arrival.

All customers must make themselves aware of the site fire procedures as soon as possible after arrival. These procedures are displayed at the fire points throughout the site and in accommodation welcome packs. The park only allows charcoal BBQ’S and does not allow any log burning fire pits. All BBQ’s must be raised off the floor and must be extinguished before 10pm.

Litter and tied bin sacks must be placed in the covered bin areas provided – rubbish MUST NOT be left outside caravans or tents due to seagull attacks. We have recycling points on site so please recycle where possible.

Ball games are only permitted on the Sports Field. Skateboarding, scooters and bicycles can only be used in the park during daylight and are not permitted in the Courtyard area at any time. Hoverboards, Segways, E-Bikes and Electric Scooters are not permitted anywhere on site. Kite flying and drone use is not permitted on site.

The management reserves the right to evict from the park any person or persons who cause any harm, damage, or unreasonable disturbance to other persons or their property. The management reserves the right to cancel any booking or evict from the park any person who shows abusive behaviour towards any other persons or any employee of Trevornick Holiday Park and Holywell Bay Golf. If evicted, no monies will be refunded.

Please note we have a zero-tolerance policy after 10pm which includes the use of hot tubs. Security staff patrol the site after this time to ensure the no noise policy is followed. Unreasonable noise or noise disturbance to other guests could result in an eviction as per the above term.

Trevornick holiday park caters for holidays and is a non-residential park and we cannot permit guests to work from the site.

Please be aware we are now almost entirely cashless onsite. You can still use cash at the Arcade, Launderette and Farm Shop, but most facilities, including Reception, Woody’s and The Golf Shop are now card only.

Deliveries and post:

Any post or courier items sent to Trevornick Holiday Park is the responsibility of the guest. Trevornick will not be held liable for any damaged or lost items sent to the site. All items received are held at Trevornick’s reception and will require photo ID for collection.

Any supermarket or shopping delivery drivers must be able to contact the guest directly, as Trevornick cannot take in any shopping on a guests behalf.  For all guests privacy, we are unable to direct drivers to a plot/accommodation. We ask all guests to arrange to meet their driver at reception to collect the delivery and recommend providing the supermarket with a contact number.

Lost property:

We will not accept liability for any lost or stolen property. If you lose anything whilst staying on site please report it to reception for recording.

You are responsible for ensuring the accommodation is emptied of all your belongings and we do not accept liability for returning items left behind.

WIFI:

Wireless internet access is available on site but is not guaranteed. The facility is not subject to any particular security and requires continuous parental supervision when used by children.

Arrivals after reception has closed must use the night holding field and report to the reception after 9am the following day. You must book in at reception before entering the Park. Last booking-in time varies throughout the season, please check with reception prior to your arrival. If guests are staying in a self-catering accommodation, please contact the reception if you plan to arrive after reception has closed.


Complaints: 

The Owners/Management reserves the right to refuse any booking or entry to Trevornick Holiday Park or Holywell Bay Golf. No complaint will be considered after the visitor has left the park. Any problems should be reported, during your stay, to reception immediately.

Health and Safety: 

Please abide by our Health & Safety regulations and all signage onsite. All our facilities and amenities are used at your own risk and we cannot accept liability for loss or damage to persons or property.

Neither we nor our employees or agents accept liability for any personal injury loss or damage which may be sustained by your party or their guest or their property during the period they or any of them are staying or visiting Trevornick Holiday Park Ltd except where it arises from negligence or wilful default of us, our employees or agents.

Whilst on holiday at Trevornick Holiday Park, if you start displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or any other infectious disease please inform a manager immediately. You will be asked to leave the site to self isolate in your own home. If due to Illness your stay is extended by choice, then you will be liable to pay the charges that apply to that period of time.

Food Safety:

If you or a member of your party have any food allergies or dietary requirements, please ensure you speak to a member of the Trevornick team before placing a food order in any one of our onsite restaurants or takeaways.

Children:

The person in charge of the booked party is deemed to be responsible for all children and young adults in the party whilst at Trevornick. All children and young adults must be under either parental, guardian or carer supervision at all times. Adults are reminded that the licensing laws prohibit the consumption of alcohol by persons under the age of 18, the person responsible for the booked party must ensure that children or young adults in the party do not consume alcohol whilst on Trevornick. Under Trevornick’s site licence, we operate by the challenge 21 guidelines. If guests are unable to provide valid photo ID (Passport Or Driving licence) they will not be served. Any guests caught breaking the licencing laws may be asked to leave the site.

Please be aware our playgrounds and soft play areas are not staffed and you use these facilities at your own risk.


Brochure & Website: 

Whilst we try to keep all Trevornick brochures and site content up to date and accurate, we cannot be held responsible for any errors.

Imagery: 

Photos displayed on Trevornick Holiday Park’s website, social channels or email are for guidance only. No persons can take/use any imagery from Trevornick Holiday Park’s website or social channels without written consent from the company.

All booking information is strictly confidential and under no circumstances will be given to a third party.

 

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the terms and conditions of your booking at any time without prior notice.
