Holiday Bookings Gift Card – Terms and Conditions 

These Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase and use of gift cards issued by Trevornick Holiday Park  for the sole purpose of booking holidays at our park. By purchasing or using a Gift Card, you accept these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Gift Card

1.1 Gift Cards may be used only as payment or part-payment toward a holiday booking made directly with Trevornick Holiday Park, Holywell Bay, Newquay, TR8 5PW
1.2 Gift Cards cannot be used for on-park purchases, food & beverage, activities, retail purchases, third-party services, upgrades after arrival, or any other goods/services.
1.3 For the avoidance of doubt, this gift card can only be used when booking a stay on camping and touring pitches, Ready tents, Statics, cottages and Lodges 6, 8, 9, 30 and 31.

2. Purchase and Activation

2.1 Gift Cards can be purchased online, by phone, or in person at Trevornick Holiday Park.
2.2 Gift Cards are activated at the point of purchase.
2.3 A Gift Card may be purchased in fixed denominations or custom amounts, subject to our current limits.

3. Making a Holiday Booking with a Gift Card

• 1 To redeem a Gift Card, you must book directly through us by calling us on 01637 830531
• 2 The Gift Card number must be provided at the time of booking.
• 3 Gift Cards may be used as full or partial payment toward the booking total.
• 4 If the booking cost exceeds the Gift Card balance, you must pay the remaining amount using another accepted payment method.

4. Restrictions

4.1 Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, vouchers, or refunds.
4.2 Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase additional Gift Cards.
4.3 Gift Cards cannot be resold or used for commercial promotions without written permission.
4.4 Gift Cards may not be applied to bookings made through third-party travel agents or booking platforms.                                        4.5 Gift card has no value unless redeemed.

5. Validity and Expiry

5.1 Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
5.2 Any unused balance after the expiry date is automatically forfeited and non-refundable.
5.3 Expiry dates cannot be extended unless required by law.

6. Cancellations and Refunds of Bookings

6.1 If you cancel a holiday that was paid for using a Gift Card, any refundable amount will be returned to the original Gift Card or a replacement Gift Card.
6.2 No cash or alternative payment refunds will be provided for bookings made using Gift Cards.
6.3 Refunds are subject to our standard holiday booking terms and cancellation policy.

7. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Gift Cards

7.1 Gift Cards should be treated like cash.
7.2 Lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Cards will not be replaced unless you provide valid proof of purchase and available balance.
7.3 We may decline to replace Gift Cards at our discretion.

8. Fraud & Misuse

8.1 We may void or refuse to accept any Gift Card we believe has been altered, duplicated, fraudulently obtained, or used in violation of these Terms.
8.2 We reserve the right to take appropriate action in cases of misuse.

9. Liability

9.1 We are not responsible for loss, theft, or unauthorised use of Gift Cards.
9.2 We are not liable for delays or inability to use Gift Cards resulting from technical issues beyond our reasonable control.
9.3 These Terms do not restrict your statutory rights.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time you purchased your Gift Card will apply to your Gift Card.

11. Miscellaneous.

11.1 We will assume, unless told to the contrary, that the person using the card at any time is the rightful owner of the card.
1.2 Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or inability to issue or redeem gift cards due to events beyond our control, including emergencies, system outages, or government actions. Gift cards remain valid as required by law.
11.3 When the gift card balance reaches zero the agreement will terminate and the right to use the card will cease.
11.4 If the holiday/booking is cancelled the gift card balance used is non-refundable.
11.5 Gift cards should be checked immediately upon receipt, and any discrepancies must be reported immediately.
11.6 You are responsible for ensuring all email addresses are correct as we cannot resend once gift card has been sent.
11.7 Terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the jurisdiction of England and Wales.
11.8 Trevornick is in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018.
