Why Trevornick Is The Best Dog-Friendly Holiday Park In Cornwall
Holidays are for making memories with loved ones, and dogs are no exception and that’s where we come in, as dog-lovers ourselves, we understand how important it is for a dog to be part of your holiday and where better to be than on the Cornish coast?
At Trevornick Holiday Park, we always go above and beyond to ensure all guests, human or not, feel very welcome and for dogs, this includes amenities like a dog wash for sandy paws, an agility course called Central Bark as well as all areas of the park being accessible from the shop to the Club House, we include them in everything so they never have to miss out – we want them to be part of the holiday from dawn til dusk.
Perhaps one of the most important things when deciding on where to holiday with your dog is location and we have one of the best! The South West Coast Path is on our doorstep so walks are easy and we’re just a short stroll from the sands of Holywell Bay Beach, so Trevornick is paw-fectly placed for endless dog walks, energy burning zoomies and sea swims! We’re also surrounded by beaches that are dog-friendly all year as well as dog loving pubs and restaurants.

Dog-Friendly Stays In Cornwall
Our array of different places to stay leave both owners and furry friends spoilt for choice. Choose our dog-friendly camping pitches and your dog will most likely leave the holiday with as many new pals as you and your children. Our Trevornick camping and touring pitches are such fun places to stay with a dog, whether you keep them on lead or build a perimeter with wind breaks, one thing we know, is dogs are always happy when they’re on a camping trip.
If glamping is more your style, then our Static Caravans, Coastal Lodges and Ready Tents all welcome dogs too and many have private enclosed decks that even the best escape artists will struggle to break through.
Our Cornish cottages are hugely popular thanks to the private fenced gardens allowing dogs and owners to relax after a busy day on the beach to settle down and re-energise enjoying the firey sunset over Gull Rocks and the surrounding countryside. It will come as no surprise that our dog-friendly cottages earn rave reviews from previous guests.
The only thing we can’t control is the irresistible smell of barbecuing sausages that often wafts through the air so bringing your own sausages is highly advisable!

Discover Cornwall’s dog-friendly beaches
One of the best things about staying at Trevornick is that some of Cornwall’s most beautiful dog-friendly beaches are right on your doorstep.
Holywell Bay
Just a short walk from the park, Holywell Bay welcomes dogs all year round. With sweeping golden sands, rolling dunes and fascinating sea caves, it’s the perfect place for games of fetch, paddling in the surf or simply soaking up the Cornish coastline.
Polly Joke
Tucked between Holywell Bay and Crantock, Polly Joke is a peaceful National Trust beach and one of Cornwall’s hidden gems. Surrounded by wildflowers in spring and summer, it’s ideal for quieter walks away from the crowds.
Perranporth
Just a short drive away, Perranporth offers nearly three miles of golden sand. Dogs are welcome year-round on parts of the beach, with seasonal restrictions on the main section during the summer months, making it another fantastic spot for a seaside adventure.
Walk straight into adventure
One of Trevornick’s biggest luxuries is that you can leave the car behind.
Step straight onto Cubert Common or join the South West Coast Path to explore dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, wildflower meadows and breathtaking coastal views. Wander to Holywell Bay, continue on to Polly Joke or make a day of it with a walk towards Perranporth.
If you’d like a few local recommendations, pop into Reception. Our team are always happy to share their favourite walking routes, tide times and hidden gems.
