Cornwall and festivals go hand in hand. Beautiful beach backdrops and the laid back summer vibes, why would you want to camp, dance and drink cider anywhere other than at Cornish festivals?
Food & Music Festival – 21st to 23rd April, Porthleven.
Now in their ninth year, the Porthleven food and music festival has got something for everyone to enjoy. Some of the best local street food around, a wide selection of music acts, family entertainment and beautiful waterfront location. This festival is unique from others as it’s completely non-profit and run by the local people of Porthleven, also did we mention there’s a new theme every year? 2017’s theme will be ‘Under the Sea’ which makes sense since the festival extends all the way down to the harbour front. Tunes On The Dunes. – 30th June to 2nd July, Perranporth.
Tunes on the dunes is a festival like no other. Still quite new, this year will be the locally run festival’s third year and they just keep getting better. Set halfway down the stunning three-mile beach of Perranporth, the backdrop of scenic cliffs and sand dunes to your photos will be epic, to say the least. One main stage at the heart of the festival grounds, so you’ll never miss an act, on-site food and drink or a two-minute walk to the famous pub on the beach, The Watering Hole. This is a festival you won’t want to miss! Sit listening to music, feet in the sand with the sea just a stone’s throw away. Full line up and camping information are available on their website now.

Boardmasters. – 9th to 13th August, Newquay.
World-renowned for their surfing and skating competitions, which take place on Newquay’s Fistral and Watergate Bay beaches, various music tents and stages which have housed artist’s such as Snoop Dogg, Ed Sheeran, Ben Howard and Chase & Status, this is a must-see festival in a league of its own.
