Blue sky thinking…

We don’t know about you but all this talk of Blue Monday – the so-called most depressing day of the year (January the somethingth-or-other) – encouraged us to come up with an antidote. So we created Turquoise Tuesday and posted a picture on our Facebook page of Holywell Bay beach in summer, in all its azure glory. It turned out that many of you felt the same as we did about this media-enforced misery, and every time yet another person ‘liked’ our bluest -of blue posts, the cheer factor in the office went up a notch. Hooray for you, we say.

That got us thinking about how it’s the simple things in life that really make us happy. Corny but true. A game of beach cricket, sausages cooked on the barbecue and eaten outside, children wriggling excitedly in their sleeping bags on the first ever night of a camping holiday. Creating family memories is at the heart of a Trevornick holiday in Cornwall, so make sure you bring your camera with you this summer. You might need to look back on a snap or two next ‘Blue Monday’!
