Family Fun!
As a family run site, Trevornick knows happy kids means happy parents, which is why we’ve made some exciting changes for kids around the site for the new year.
We are building a brand-new Mini Golf course next to our Pitch & Putt! The whole family can enjoy hours of fun, no matter how experienced a golfer.
For the kids with endless amounts of energy, we are creating a new play area in our woodland called the Forest Trail. With its own zip wire, it’s perfect for the mini adrenaline seekers.
We are also putting in new climbing frames and swings in the children’s play park by Yellow field for 2019, open to guests from dawn till dusk.
As if that wasn’t enough to keep the kids entertained, we are building a new Football Golf course by our sports field. Open to Trevornick guests only, this game combines two famous sports creating an exciting, fun for all, activity.
Very Important Pets
Your four-legged friends mean a lot to us here at Trevornick and we are always looking for ways to make their holiday just as extraordinary as yours.
For this season we are investing in a Bark & Bathe outdoor dog shower station! Enjoy sandy beach days and muddy coastal walks without having to worry about the mess made in the tent or caravan afterwards. Coming Summer 2019!
Around the Site
Trevornick’s site has been adapting with the times since the beginning – have a look at our ‘Past of Trevornick’ blog post to see what the site used to look like! And 2019 is no different…
You can now make even more of the great outdoors, with a new spacious decking area in front of the conservatory. With heat lamps to keep you cosy in the evenings, umbrellas to shade you from the Cornish sun during the day and atmospheric lighting to set the scene for great holiday nights.
You don’t have to venture too far for a delicious family meal as we’ve revamped the Farm Shop building into a Pizzeria! Sit indoors or outdoors to enjoy your pizza or head over to Woody’s for one of their staple home cooked meals.
Stay stocked up on all your fresh groceries and camping essentials, at the new updated, larger Farm Shop. With new indoor and outdoor seating as part of the Farm Shop bakery, you can enjoy hot drinks and warm pastries throughout the day.
Left something at home by mistake? Don’t panic, Trevornick’s trusty Hire shop will be open for the 2019 season, providing everything from fridges to wetsuits.
We love Holywell Bay as much as you do! And now it’s even easier to get to, as we’ve widened and reseeded the path down the dunes through the golf course. So, bring on the beach days!
Fishing
We have spent the Winter months filtering, emptying, digging out and re-stocking all three of our coarse fishing ponds. This is a huge job which has taken us weeks to complete and a lot of hard work from our maintenance team. We’ve purchased over 400lb of a variety of carp for the ponds and we have invested in a brand-new aeration system for all three ponds to improve fishing for 2019.
