October Half Term Holidays in Cornwall
We know it is only March but are already looking forward to October Half Term! After last year’s themed nights being such a hit with our guests we’ve decided to bring them back – plus some exciting extras! This year we are open for two weeks instead of one, which means double the amount of holiday fun. We’ve put together a handy checklist of all the things you should bring with you to make the most of your October Half Term Holiday in Cornwall.
Week 1 –
A 1920s speakeasy costume. For this themed night, you’ll be needing your best Great Gatsby inspired costume as one lucky family will be winning a Trevornick 2020 holiday for the most impressive outfits!
New for 2019 we will be having our first ever Oktoberfest at Trevornick! This is another chance to get creative with your costume with German-inspired looks for the whole family.
You’ll be needing your best Christmas Jumper for Trevornick’s Cornish Christmas! Our early Christmas festivities are hugely popular with the kids and adults alike. With a visit from Father Christmas himself, this is not a night you want to miss.
As well as your Christmas outfit, we are also hosting a decorate your caravan competition. So, get into the attic and find all your Christmas decorations to be in with a chance of winning!
Week 2 –
For week two of Trevornick’s October Half Term, we are hosting a 1980s dance party! You will be needing, legwarmers, slogan tees, shell suits, tutus and everything neon. Get ready for lots of 80s classics you can dance the night away to.
It wouldn’t be October without Halloween! Get your spooky Halloween costume ready for a night of Halloween games, dances and spooky stories.
You’ll also be needing some Pumpkin Carving tools for our day time Halloween activity. This has been known to get quite competitive between guests, so bring your best pumpkin designs!
Another chance to get the decorations out as we will be having a Halloween decorate your caravan competition during the second week of half term.
New for 2019 we will be hosting our very first Day of the Dead themed night! We will have face painting available throughout the night to turn the whole family into spooky Day of the Dead skeletons, so make sure you bring a costume to match.
Our Day time kids entertainment is being announced soon, along with our full October Half Term entertainment schedule so keep your eyes on our social media channels.
