After a long winter hunkered down, as soon as the daffodils show their cheery yellow faces it’s a welcome sign that Spring is just around the corner. Here in Cornwall the meadows and hedgerows are fast becoming filled with these harbingers of spring, their golden petals unfurling like the promise of warmer days ahead. This means that Easter is just a bunny hop away, and here at Trevornick we are looking forward to welcoming families new and returning for beachside egg hunts, starry nights under canvas and the first BBQs of the year. First Sandy Toes of the Year
Easter fanfares the start of warmer weather here in Cornwall, and what better excuse than to kick off your shoes and reconnect with nature? The sensation of toes sinking into warm sand is like a warm hug for the soul, and the whole family (even the four-legged members) will love the chance to stroll down the private path from Trevornick right onto the sandy dunes of Holywell Bay Beach. Sea dips, sandcastle competitions and sunset picnics make for a perfect family day before returning to the cosy haven of your caravan.
Get Back to Nature
If forests and wildflowers are more your thing, get in touch with your wild side at Trevornick’s very own beautiful woodland. Our Forest Trail was created to enable guests to explore the beauty of nature around them- with climbing frames and balancing beams built into the trees, a large spider net to climb and tunnels to crawl through all enclosed within our woodland area, kids of all ages will have a wild time. Why not hold your own Easter egg hunt in the woods? (you may even spot the white fluffy tail of a bunny bouncing away beyond the ferns!)
Golf, Bingo and Farm Club Fun
The best holiday memories are the ones where the whole family comes along too. At Trevornick we love nothing more than seeing three generations of family all smiling and relaxing in perfect harmony. Our Easter entertainment schedule includes something for everyone, ensuring unforgettable holiday fun for all ages. From evening cash bingo (prize bingo for the kids) to our ever-popular ‘Trevornick’s Got Talent’ competition, your Easter evenings will be well-spent at the Farm Club. If a slower pace of life is what you crave, then a lazy lunch followed by a game of golf at neighbouring Holywell Bay Golf will be just what the doctor ordered.
