Travelling to Trevornick without a Car

While a long car journey can be a little daunting, particularly with youngsters, there are lots of alternative ways to arrive in style and enjoy a relaxed holiday. Trevornick’s location just 10 minutes outside of well-connected Newquay, there are plenty of options to explore.

Fly In Style

Cornwall Airport Newquay has arrivals from throughout the UK daily meaning your journey to Cornwall will be a breeze. With destinations including cities such as London (Heathrow), Leeds, Manchester, Doncaster, Liverpool, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Isle of Man, Belfast, Dublin and Cork you’ll never have to travel far to get to a connecting airport.

Upon leaving arrivals there is a dedicated taxi company found opposite the arrivals gate and also the option to hire a car for your time in Cornwall. Hertz or Europcar can both be collected on arrival and Trevornick is just a short drive away through Watergate Bay and Newquay.

All Aboard

The branch line to Newquay is connected to the main London Paddington to Penzance line meaning you can travel with Great Western Railway across the country to get to your destination. Admire views from your window en-route including the white horse carved into chalk hills in Westbury, the dramatic Dawlish Coastline and the ground-breaking engineering of Brunel whilst crossing the Tamar River.

Alight at Newquay and a 10-minute taxi journey will mean you reach Trevornick with plenty of time still left in the day to head down to Holywell Bay.

Coach Comfort

Why not travel in comfort by coach? Both National Express and Mega Bus operate throughout the UK and call at Newquay Bus Station on their way. With London, Bristol and Manchester among many pick-up points directly connected to the seaside town it’s a relaxed and money-saving journey.

You’ve Reached Your Destination

Once you reach our Cornwall campsite the possibilities of travel don’t stop there. Hop on a bus, which stops right outside our five star holiday park, and travel in one direction to the sleepy coastal village of Crantock and the lively town centre of Newquay or the opposite route which visits quirky seaside towns including Perranporth and St Agnes before the bus reaches its last stop in Truro, the bustling, little city of Cornwall.
