What our guests think

Beautiful site in a fantastic location. The beach is a short walk away. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. We had a lovely meal on site, the restaurant was very busy, but the staff were friendly and helpful. On the whole I would certainly recommend this site it is well worth a visit...

Holiday cottage near the beach in Cornwall

With its light-flooded conservatory stretching the length of the cottage, spacious garden and log burner Popham Cottage’s traditional feel is the perfect place to get a taste of the Cornwall countryside lifestyle.

Coastal paths, beaches and farmland are just on your doorstep in this quaint home away from home, which is one of three Holywell Bay holiday cottages available at Trevornick. The end of terrace cottage occupies a very private location with a delightful small garden at the front of the property and a large sunny, raised and enclosed garden to the rear.

Through the porched entrance, guests step into a traditionally-furnished and beautifully-decorated dining area which leads to the spacious modern kitchen where all the expected amenities can be found, including a dishwasher, microwave oven, Tassimo coffee machine and fridge with freezer compartment.

Two adjoining warm and sunny areas act as the focal point to this enchanting cottage, whilst the welcoming sitting-room provides a cosy hideaway to the left of the dining area and includes a TV, DVD and CD stereo system plus Wifi.

From the kitchen, a sunny conservatory with sitting area and convenient open serving hatch gives access through patio doors to the rear garden and also to the ground floor family bathroom with toilet, shower and utility room with washing machine.

Upstairs is a master bedroom, which boasts a four-poster bed and vistas across the fields towards the Gull Rocks and the Atlantic Ocean. The twin-bedded room has views across the pretty front garden and over the surrounding countryside. Popham sleeps 4 (plus a cot if required), with one double bedroom and one twin room.

Up to two dogs are also welcome in Popham Cottage so you don’t have to leave a family member at home. Tails will be wagging with a dog-walking field, miles of coast-path on your doorstep and the services of local doggy day-care meaning the pooch will love Trevornick too.

Off road parking is provided immediately adjacent to the cottage and rear garden.
