February Half Term in Cornwall

As well as taking a step away from your everyday life and slowing down in Cornwall, there is a variety of family friendly activities happening across February half-term. To help you narrow down the best ways to spend your holiday, we’ve made a list of our top five things to do this half-term.
The Science of the Sea – National Maritime Museum

Join in on the fun this February half-term with science shows for the whole family to enjoy! Explore the science of water, nature of atoms and investigate the weird and wonderful ways of the sea. Get creative with an arty science experiment using colour and water then set out on the Museum Trail to find the hidden lab coats to reveal the answers and win a prize!
Doodle-tastic Adventures – The Eden Project
38-minute drive from Trevornick Holiday Park.
Kid’s go FREE for half term week.
Partnering with the team behind Tom Gates, The Eden Project are hosting an amazing programme bursting with epic creativity, colour, fun and imagination! From wacky food sculptures and bug trails to snug reading corners and super drawing workshops, this is the perfect activity for your little ones to get stuck into!
Teddy Bears Picnic – Dairyland Farm
15-minute drive from Trevornick Holiday Park.
Kid’s under 80cm go FREE.
When you go down to the Dairyland Farm at half-term you’re in for a big surprise! Alongside the usual fun at Dairyland, you can now create your own lovable fur friend in their teddy bear workshop and follow the bear quiz. The fun doesn’t stop there, with pony and tractor rides available throughout the week.
Sweet Dreams and Hibernation – The Lost Gardens of Heligan
42-minute drive from Trevornick Holiday Park.
Celebrate the hibernation season at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Enjoy garden trails, games and arts and crafts as you learn about the regenerative powers of slumber. As you visit the gardens you will be welcomed by the first signs of Spring as the daffodils across the woodland walk begin to bloom.
Big Machine Week – Strawberry Fields
53-minute drive from Trevornick Holiday Park.
FREE entry for half term week.
For all of the little ones (and big kids!) who love tractors and machines, visit Strawberry Fields’ Big Machine Week this half-term. See machines including combine harvesters, ploughs and tractors, which keep the farm running day to day. Hop onboard for photos and take a tour via tractor trailer ride.
