It’s Fangtastic Fun at Trevornick This October Half Term!
If you read our last blog post you’ll already know there are many spooktacular events for families to take part in this October Half Term at Cornwall’s top tourist attractions. There’s also a whole host of fiendishly fun activities to enjoy right here at Trevornick when you stay with us for Half Term!
Free Activities & Entertainment
We are all about the fun at Trevornick, so this Half Term we’ve got a jam-packed schedule of Kids’ Clubs and evening entertainment to get you in the Halloween spirit! Across the week we’ve got daily cash bingo and kids’ discos, with live music most nights from the best local artists. Our ever popular Tribute Tuesday is back featuring Jersey Jukebox, with the sounds of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons and the greatest jukebox tunes from all your favourite decades! Don’t miss Spooky Stories in our woodlands on Wednesday night (if you dare..) and the highlight of the week on Friday – The Monsters’ Ball and Halloween Party Night! Be sure to pack your creepiest costumes to join in the fun and be in with a chance to win Trevornick’s Best Dressed!
Morning Kids’ Clubs take place 5 days a week, with Halloween themed Arts and Crafts, a Ghoulish Ghost Hunt on Tuesday and Pumpkin Carving on Thursday! You can check out our online What’s On Guide [link] to help you plan your trip, and pick up a printed guide on arrival at Reception. Please note Pumpkin Carving must be pre-booked by calling Reception on 01637 830531 or popping in to book in person on arrival. Please bring your own carving tools for your children to use.
Facilities
Trevornick has plenty of facilities to keep families busy on holiday. Bring your bikes to take on the Trevornick bike track, get competitive at football golf, and go wild in the Forest Trail play area! Our site has direct footpath access to stunning Holywell Bay and South West Coast Path for windswept autumn walks to blow the cobwebs away, and with spacious dog walking fields, the Bark & Bathe dog shower and plenty of dog-friendly accommodation, four-legged friends will enjoy their holiday as much as their human families!
Please be aware the pool and Splash Zone will not be open for October Half Term (so no need to pack your bikinis!). Woody’s Bar & Restaurant will be open daily for a warming hot chocolate or coffee, and the Village Chip Shop in Cubert or Smugglers Den Inn are both great options for dinner times.
Our three courses at Holywell Bay Golf make for great family fun, with Mini Golf ideal for youngsters, Pitch & Putt for older kids and beginners or Par 3 for the more experienced golfers. Book online for 10% off Pitch & Putt or Par 3, and you can hire clubs if you don’t fancy squeezing them in the car with all your holiday stuff!
For a bit of peace and tranquillity why not try your hand at a spot of fishing? The Bait Shack hire all equipment, including beginner kits, and can give you some expert advice to help you make a good catch! Or if total relaxation is on the cards, book a mobile massage, facial or other beauty treatments at the Tranquillity Spa to pamper you at your static caravan or luxury lodge (not available for camping & touring during October, sorry).
